For many, San Francisco is the iconic city by the bay – shrouded in fog, with her iconic cable cars and Golden Gate Bridge. But, not many know the city as a sex trafficking hub. Everyday, thousands of victims are put to work in illegal brothels around the city – and more are offered online by their pimps. A life of deceit, brutality, and helplessness drives many victims to the brink. Unchained SF seeks to give a voice to these silent victims, and to raise awareness of this thorny issue in a novel and thought-provoking way.
